This site started as a simple hosted domain, really just an extension to a personal site. Just somewhere where I could put files and access them else where. I started randomly developing things, and experimenting many other things. The result is pretty much what you see here. I am constantly coming up with ideas and dropping them here.

Site Hardware

The site is run off a dedicated server, shared with a few other sites. I own the domain name, the bandwidth and server usage has been donated by mainstreamtopics.com, in exchange for just looking after the server and performing maintence on it. This site itself employs many technologies:

• PHP - All pages are written in php.
• MySQL - All database requirements are fulfilled by MySQL including:
  • RPO Code Database
  • Membership Database
• GD library - Handles all image resampling and resizing, as well as other manipulation.
• CSS - Most page formatting is done via CSS.
• XHTML - Pages are written to be XHTML valid 'strict'.
• MPlayer - Used to manipulate multimedia (videos).
• AJAX - In Development
